DISOSSOCIATIVE FUGUE

DISOASSOCIATIVE FUGUE – CAL AND LULU STYLE

The venerable cartoon characters,  Cal and Lulu who reside in “dogicity.net” and “caninecartoons.com” are discussing their current moods. Cal notices that Lulu seems a lot more serious than usual, and perhaps even a little stoic. Lulu agrees, that Cal is probably right and that she has been “pondering  a bit” lately. She is sitting and staring at a jar of “Dr. Mo’s Digital Dog Biscuits,” a dietary staple of Cal and Lulu. Cal identifies with Lulu’s “stoicism” and admits: “I have been walking around in a “disossociative fugue” myself.”

Cal says: “Sometimes I feel like my mind loses track of itself and I lose focus upon what is most important” Lulu opines: “I dunno Cal, you seem pretty focused now!” as she and Cal stare at the jar of “Dr. Mo’s Digital Dog Biscuits,” As Cal dreams of his mom, “Mama Callaway” telling him to “keep his eye on the prize,” he tells Lulu that his current condition “could be subliminal” Lulu replies: “I can identify with your angst ” Cal.

The dictionary defines “Disossociative Fugue” as “unexpected travel away from home or business, with amnesia for the past and partial to total confusion about identity or assumption of a new identity”
